The Ridgeback is a customized payload engineered by the FLYMOTION R&D team specifically for Boston Dynamics Spot robotic unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). It enhances the connectivity and operational capabilities of the Ridgeback, enabling extended range operations in dynamic environments.

Key Features:

• Networking: Utilizes advanced Wave Relay® multicast algorithms for seamless Layer 2 network connectivity. It also includes integrated serial-to-Ethernet capability and Cloud Relay™ for efficient data transmission. Compatible with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and features an integrated DHCP server for network configuration. Additionally, it supports USB RNDIS Host and Device functionalities.
• Security: Equipped with integrated hardware cryptographic acceleration and CTR-AES-256 encryption for secure data transmission. Offers HMAC-SHA-256 authentication and integrity verification, utilizing Suite-B algorithms for robust security. Features cryptographically authenticated Over-the-Air (OTA) rekey and key zero capabilities for enhanced security management.
• Radio Module: The radio module is IP68 rated and MIL-STD certified, ensuring durability and reliability in challenging environments. It features an anodized black coating for added protection and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F). Designed and manufactured in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, ensuring high quality and standards compliance.
