UTAC Courses

Our Unmanned Tactical Application Courses (UTAC) are instructed at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Training new students on the proper use of drone technology and advanced skills is one of our passions as becoming a proficient operator brings with it a great deal of responsibility. FLYMOTION takes drone training very seriously given the dynamic UAS industry and extensive FAA regulations. We instill our students with a healthy respect of the aircraft and the proper understanding of how to manipulate it in the desired operational manner.

FAA Licensed

FAA Part 107 licenses are important, yet provide a legal minimum standard to operate. Anyone can become an FAA licensed drone pilot simply by purchasing a commercial drone and undergoing a self-administered test. However, competency in safe piloting procedures is not a guarantee. UAS operations are a never-ending pursuit of improvement.

Hands-On Training

Not all training can be taught in the field, and not all concepts can be applied in the classroom. This is why FLYMOTION's certified pilots and operators train students in both areas. Learning the concepts behind disaster mapping, response technician, night operations, and more are best applied in the field with the foundation already instilled from experience from subject matter experts.
